OK Guys! Who’s with me?! I have been trying to lose this weight forever! I have a thyroid condition that makes it TWICE as hard for me to lose weight. I basically have no metabolism. So I need to take medicine for the rest of my life to regulate my body. Anyway, I diet and lose a little, but then the weight loss just stops. I get discouraged and think….WHY starve myself if I am not even losing weight??!!And then I give up!
WELL I HAVE HAD IT!!! I have a birthday coming up in September, and well…I am not ready to reveal just how old I am going to be LOL. I want to lose at least 35 lbs by my Birthday! I want to do this for ME, and for my kids. I just got a clean bill of health other than my thyroid and I want to keep it that way! I saw myself on TV and hated the way I looked! I don’t want to ever go on TV again and look like that either. So I need YOUR help! I need the motivation….someone to push me. At the same time, if any of you know me , I have to make this fun too!
I have such a busy summer, on top of working at least 65 hours a week, AND couponing for my own family. In between all of this I need to incorporate a diet. I am going to change my eating habits and try as much as I can to fit exercise in there. For any of my local members, I am up for Boot Camp, Cross Fit or Kickboxing. Told ya I was serious! LOL
OK..So Now for the Challenge.
Starts: Sunday July 15th, 2012
Ends: Sunday October 7th, 2012
The Person that loses the most will win a $50 Gift Card from me. This is my way of saying Thank You for doing this with me!!!
Here’s How It Will Work:
Each person that wants to enter, You will need to take a picture of your weight. (this will ONLY be for me to see since I need to determine who will win the $50 Gift Card) You will also need to include a tiny piece of paper with the date written on it and just state “starting weight:” I will have you each send me a new picture every single week to see your progression. *Please be advised, it is your responsibility to send me the weekly updates without me having to ask for them. Every Sunday your weigh ins will be due. I apologize but I just can’t chase after everyone that enters for weigh ins and weekly updates.
I am not ready to announce my weight to everyone but to push me even more. Once I lose 20 pounds I will publicly announce in the Group how much I weigh. (You guys , this is HUGE for me to do since NO one Knows this LOL) I feel this is just one more thing that will push me.
I have created a private Facebook Group for all of our progressions. We can post meal ideas, suggestions or just vent about how hungry we are. LOL I will also share anything you want to know about me in this group. How lucky are you?! HAHA
Once I receive your picture and know that you are serious , you will be placed in the group. This group will ONLY be for those of us that are participating in the Challenge. You can’t just come in the group to see what’s going on. (Sorry!)
I also suggest for your benefit , take pictures of yourself every week to see the change. This might be something you want to share with the group, but maybe not. In any event , it is really for you to see the change.
I can’t thank you guys enough for doing this with me! I have some other cool and fun ideas, but will post that in the group!
